Superior Processing & Weighing, Inc. was contracted to install a railroad track scale for a major automobile manufacturer in Tennessee.
We configured, recommended and provided a Rice Lake Weighing System’s Survivor Series Modular. The project consisted of existing track demolition, excavation and major rock removal, installation of concrete foundations, fabrication and installation of new bollards and safety walkways. Installation of the rail scale, laser light display, three (3) – wireless signal transmitters to send a signal 0.5 mile to the control room, and a 920I kiosk completed the package. We were also asked to install a new track derail switch.
